SheridanSheridan Blue Streak Serial Numbers

Another test of the Sheridan blue streak. Sheridan Silver Streak - ROHM RG300 & RTS MOD. 1966.22 Caliber Blank Gun Preview - Duration: 12:42. Replica Airguns 34,674 views. I also though it was a 22 caliber. It is actually a Sheridan ' C ' Series Blue streak in 5mm which is 20 caliber. I never owned a 20 caliber and I have like two dozen fine pellet and BB rifles. I did a little research and found it was made in 1978. I do know Benjamin bought out Sheridan and the Crossman bought them out. Was given yesterday a Sheridan blue streak 5m/m 20 cal. That has not been shot in many years- excellent condition- would like to know any precautions beside cleaning barrel first? Was told less than 20 pellets thru it. Serial # 197530 any idea of age? What pellets they like? What do you owners think of these? On the right side of the receiver it says SHERIDAN PRODUCTS INC., and below that is stamped RACINE WIS - MADE IN U.S.A. On the left side of the receiver, 'BLUE STREAK' 5m/mCAL. I couldn't find a serial number to look up the date of manufacture.

Don’t use anything but a crown saver or monofilament fishing line loop to pull patches- the barrel is brass! Lube the pump cup with pellgun oil, pump 2-3 times and dry fire to get the oil into the seals. Pump 2-3 times and put it away overnight to see if it holds air. Always store with 2-3 pumps to keep dirt out of the seals.

Mine seem to like JSBs and H&N Baracudas. They’re great little guns, especially with a peep sight mounted.

Either will do with silicone being preferred. Is it holding air ok?

Unless the front sight has been filed down, you should be good using the Williams rear peep.
Don’t waste your time at Walmart. They will probably not carry 5mm pellets.
