Instead of the normal over the world, you can play The Lost Cities Mod 1.16.3/1.14.4/1.12.2 is an old abandoned city. If you cannot create your world, you cannot select ‘Lost Cities’ as your world type.
It has some versions, like Documentation for 1.12, Documentation for 1.14, and 1.15. There are some differences between these versions. For 1.12, you need a server-side to use ‘lost cities’ as the world type. For 1.14, you don’t need a separate world type. For 1.14 these are optional.
Documentation for 1.12 needs a specific ‘profile’. There is not a Lost Cities variant if Biomes O Plenty is not present. Documentation for 1.14 and 1.15 have plans that the custom dimension that was present in 1.12. If you press the LC button and tweak the c-o-n-f-i-g-s file, you will get the most flexible way to configure for usage on a server is to first create a single-player world.
Finally, you can check the companion mod Lost Souls, because you will have fun with more challenges to the buildings. It is about an old scary city with loot. It is also risky because this mod works together with Lost Souls.
You have to make sure that you install Minecraft Forge and CompatLayer before you install this mod.

How to install The Lost Cities Mod
- You have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the Minecraft application folder.
- On windows open Run from the start menu > type %appdata% > click Run.
- On mac open finder, hold down ALT > click Go then Library in the top menu bar.
- Open the folder Application Support > look for Minecraft.
- Place the mod you have just Mod downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
- When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see Mod is installed.
